Tesla Inc and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Saturday reiterated his adoration for the Boeing 747.

What Occurred: “Wings can flex to loopy ranges,” Musk wrote on X, previously Twitter, in response to a person who shared a brief, 22-second video of the Boeing 747’s wing in a turbulence

“Airplane wings aren’t some inflexible chunks of metallic: in truth, they most likely have a bit extra flex than you’d count on,” the person wrote.

Musk, seemingly a fan of Boeing’s engineering, beforehand picked the Boeing 747 over the Airbus A380 in a ballot on X.

“747. I want Boeing nonetheless made that airplane,” Musk wrote, whereas including that the airplane is sort of supersonic in a dive.

About The 747: The 747, developed by Boeing Co BA, was previously referred to as the unique jumbo jet and even the queen of the skies. It’s the world’s first twin-aisle airplane with manufacturing beginning in 1967.

The final 747 plane was delivered to Atlas Air in January after Boeing confirmed in July 2020 that it might finish its manufacturing.
